Would be helpful if you provided an example of a search that isn't working...

click the tab for Search Single Content, it works like you are expecting. Also, I think you need words with at least 4 letters. For example, "Z06" will not pull up anything.

Thanks, I was using three characters. ECO, MDS, and DoD with no luck.

If you need to search less than four characters use the asterisk (*).

Ex: MDS searched by itself does not return anything because it is only three characters but if you use MDS* then it will search for anything that starts with MDS. If you searched *MDS then it would search for anything that ends with MDS. If you searched *MDS* it will search for anything with MDS in the middle.

MDS is unique so it works well. DOD doesn't work so well be cause if you search DOD* you end up with a lot of DODGE threads.

    Ex2: Zo6 won't search but it's unique enough to use Zo6*.

It works with a mix too, such as 5.3. You can't search just 5.3 because it is only three characters but if you search 5.3* it will return 5.3, 5.3L, ect. It's nice for things that are over three characters as well because you can search just the root word and get all variations of it. Knock* returns Knock, knocks, knocking, ect.

I know I shouldn't, but I have to chime in. I have a guy here with a 97 Suburban and as some of you know, it cannot be tuned. I came into the forums, searched every phrase I could think of and nothing, not a single hit. Then I searched the forums for approx 1.5hrs! Went through post after post then remembered one of the guys last year using google. I put into GOOGLE "HP Tuners: 97 Suburban" and the exact thread I was hunting came up, after bugging support with a useless question mo less, that probably slowed getting the Ford I need added to the next release*little HP humor there... so, if you have issues with the search here, hit up GOOGLE before you get as frustrated as I did.
