    hi new here, I have got a 1996 s 10 2.2 will hp tune work on it, if so where do you get the latest kit?

    thanks for your reply bill, that is the only 0bd2 vehicale I have. what all will it work on in the gm family?

    I don't recall there being a "tuner" that will support those old computers, they were just so basic.

    I'd have to suggest going to a stand alone unit such has megasquirt or similar to have it control and tune everything you want too.
    2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

    If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

    its obd2 here is the number 16235293 file btss, was going to buy hp tuners but this is the only obd2 I have so if it wont work wouldn't get to play much. I got an auto prom that I use on obd1 my truck is a 91 the s10 is my wifes. would efi live work on our s10 or would you know?

    The last that I saw, the other brand would not work either.

    You have an autoprom, you might be able to use RTT or tunercat if there is an xdf for your vehicle.

    jpliss, what is [rtt] tunercat doesn't have a definition for that truck ether. does hp tuners have the capability of smoothing timming an ve tables?

    I would think it easier to just swap in a PCM from a slightly later supported vehicle with same engine, fuel delivery system setup, and tranny.

    what is a streaming liecense,how is it different that a regular one.
