    obd2 connector help

    how can i check my obd2 connector ?? i have 4 wires
    purple = data
    black = ground = chassis
    blk/wht = ground = signal
    orange = battery
    i check the grounds with ohm meter and all is good there ,, i do have 12 volts on my orange , how can i check the data wire ?
    it s 06 chevy truck 5.3 with a 02 pcm
    i can do scans and log runs ,, just not load
    i have loaded tunes before , but not after i did push button start ,, what test can i do?

    unhook the push button start module, its tied into your serial data line and wont allow a tune to be put in.

    IF you can bypass it while tuning, you can keep it in. The issue is that it is polling the serial data at the same time that HPTuners is trying to program. I know I can bypass the setup, I dunno if you can (know how) though. I wouldn't ditch it, but you need to more or less hot wire the ignition switch while the Push button start is unpowered and then put it back afterwards.
