What causes timing to take a nose dive on decel?

E38 6.2, tried searching but came up empty handed. I'm thinking coast down spark maybe.

DFCO can cause some really low timing while it's active. No idea if that's it on this one but that's something else worth looking at

Well this is in OLMAF so I had DFCO off for tuning purposes. Just wondering what would do that, the E38 seems so touchy and mysterious lol.
