    New car

I just started tunning my 08 aura xe 3.5. I had a 01 regal and alot of the stuff seems much more involved. I am doing research and i wanted to know if 84 percent throtte is a big problem or if its normal. Also any other tips to tunning the new stuff as opposed to the more basic 3.8 tuning.

I guess the 84% thing might carry to that car aswell. That's full throttle on GEN 4 truck/car computers.

You can log the throttle pedal aswell and that should show 0-100%.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

Yeah, certain throttle PIDs only go up to 84% while others will show the full 100%. I now use "ETC Position", which does go up to 100% (at least on my platform). I originally had a different throttle PID and it only went up to 84%. Just have to find the right one.
