Which COM port for Innovate SP2 channel?

VCM Scanner 3.0.53 is what I'm currently running.

So I don't see a way to select the COM port for the serial channel for the Innovate SP2. Is it set to a specific port already ie. COM3 or is it configurable in some file? I've done some searching through the directories and couldn't find a config file to even look for it. Also I don't see anything in the VCM Scanner to set the com port.

On the subject I know using the USB protocol that is native on the LM-1/LM-2 was in the works to feed into VCM Scanner. Any update on the progress on that? I can definitely test that out at home if any testers are needed.

doesn't matter, scanner will search for it.

on the same topic. i connected my LM-2 with serial to usb i just got. it showed on the channel list but dosent read correct. it gives a 3 digit number something around 500. but noticed when i shut the engine off and the LM2 screen shows 18 i got the same on the scanner.

analog thru MPVI works fine by the way
