    External A/D

So I am trying to add the user define. It lets me transform and copy but then I rename and put in my formula but it reverts back everytime. I am saving it but I can't figure out what is wrong. It does not put a drop down box under User Define either and where would it show up if I am selecting a gauge to the pid? Basically I am putting my boost gauge and fuel pressure gauge on my dash but it does not seem to work.
    Thanks
    Justin

What version of 3.0 are you using?

Can you walk us through, click by click, what you're doing, so we can try to reproduce your results?

If I go in a add a channel, then select A/D 2. Select again and Transform. Select GM 2 bar and copy the function to User Define. It does not show up under User define. I go ahead and make my changes and save. It shows up if I open it but it shows up as GM 2 bar data. It also does not show up if you click to add channel, I don't even see user defined in any of the folders.

The save icon is used to share transforms with others.

    You need to click OK.

I just went back and read the help section. I am reading this right that I cannot have a User Define channel but it is something you all have to add?

You can have user defined inputs. You must select what parameter you want your input to act as, and then you can plot against that parameter in the layouts.

Ok I see what is wrong, I guess my formula is wrong. I am writing v/ 1*9.017+0.6614-14.7 It is erasing everything after the /1.

Posting screenshots of what you're seeing would help.

Ok I figured it out, the tutorial didn't mention the tools bar with User Defined math. figured it out and appears to be working. I email support about my Wideband, do we have any solutions on getting the AFM 1500 in there and adapting it for serial.
    Thanks
