I have a 06 with efi on the truck and it won't let me tune, but I can read the file and look at the values. Is this efi file the problem or something else? Any help would be appreciated!

If i was you i would take that question and email it to [email protected] along with your file, the VCM log information and see what they say for supporting this. Quickest turnaround

Same thing was happening to me. Make sure your battery connections are tight, and driver side battery is charged. After that try writing again, sometimes it takes me 2 or 3 times to get it to work properly. Make sure you hit your unlock button as well, just to make sure the SKIM isn't flagging it.
Thanks I will try that!
I ran into that on Thursday. Already sent it over to support. Do you have this ECM?

I can not get my hptuners to read my 07 5.9 truck at all. The read vehicle tab is grayed out. Scanner connects just fine though.
Nevermind. I am reading mine out now. I opened and closed program several times, restarted my computer etc. Just finished read and says invalid checksum.
Just emailed it in. Thanks! Does anybody have a stock 06-07 file I could look at?
If you have a tune open, the read option is grayed out.
Yes that was the issue. I went to File, Exit and then reopened and it allowed me to try to read out my file.
