Hey guys, I've got a rather unique situation on my hands. I'm just trying to see if there's an easy fix.

I have a 2006 Chevy Equinox 3.4 AWD. It had an engine installed from a 2008 Equinox 3.4. For some reason they thought the vehicle was an 07, which is the cut off for interchange. 05-06 is the same and 07-09 is the same.

Everything physically on the motor swapped over fine. I believe they had to switch upper intakes.

The problem is the cam sensors and pickups are different. That appears to be the ONLY difference at this point.
The 2006 has a 12 volt reference and a uniform 4 wave signal.
The 2008 has a 5 volt reference and a "2 long, 2 short" signal.
They mount in the block, are not interchangeable, and the cam hardware is not the same.

Is there any possible way, via the tune, to get this to read right?
Either by making the vehicle accept the new style signal.... or by putting a 2008 file on 2006 car?

Otherwise somebody wasted 14+ hours of install and swap time on this and they get to do it again!

Thanks in advance.
