Just got a used E38 and sent it to the dealership for the VIN of my choice (2009 express van) for a swap. Read it before and after. The VIN is now the one that I had requested, But when I read, it shows tuner locked by someone else. Does SI 2000 at the dealership not kill the tunerlock even when it complete rewirtes successfully?
will most probably be the wrong tune / vin/ cal file for the ecu and it has now locked it
what was vin/OS you wanted and what is the serv# of the e38
