can't locate VCM Ford F 150 2005

Hi i got an issues and need help. I tuned a ford F150 2005 all il working fine but i need to make some modification and now hp tuners can't locate VCM.


i already try every usb port of my portable, test another truck with Hp Tuners and they work.

i already checked every fuse on the truck every fuse is fine.

any idea ?

I run into this issue very other time I use HPT. Some of the steps I take are

- unplug cable from car and laptop
- plug them back in, car first then laptop(reverse the order if you need to repeat this step)
- renew the licenses from the menu bar(this confirms the laptop can see the HPT box)
- try and connect using VCM scanner, this confirms the HPT box can see the car(which is where the problem usually is)
- rinse and repeat multiple times until it finally works...its mega annoying but eventually it will work
