    Awesome!
I wonder if this new licensing feature also makes Roush files able to be licensed.

If I download 3.0 onto my laptop...and keep 2.24.... will there be any issue using the editor and scanner of 2.24 until I used to 3.0 and get it all set up?

Where are the "database" files that the new version uses? In the older version I would copy these files between my tuning computers so that window sizes, locations, favorites, units selection etc could be kept without having to setup every vcm suite on each computer.

I am just glad the VVE wizard is there, manipulating the tables and graphs in the Bluecat tool was a pain. But now I have to setup new configs from scratch, that is not going to be fun.

You can click Help on the menu or you can also go to http://www.hptuners.com/help/VCM-Scanner/ for VCM Scanner and http://www.hptuners.com/help/VCM-Editor/ for VCM Editor

Same VCM Suite.cfg, VCM Editor.cfg and VCM Scanner.cfg files as 2.24, located in My Documents\HP Tuners\Settings

This is also documented here: http://www.hptuners.com/help/vcm-sca...hitecture.html

Don't know exactly where to find this. I'm HPT dumb. Not my forte but I'm trying.

Also, I noticed that when you fully close out and reopen, it opens the last file you were in as well as any table that was open when you close out.
I also noticed that when you try to make a change to an existing licensed file, it will ask you to license. But just click yes and it flips through and automatically loads it from the cable.

Okay the table options aren't sticking... Meaning if I open up "Main VE" and I resize the window and switch it to side by side with 3d graph and then close it out and re-open the "Main VE" it doesn't pull the window back up in the last location. This is a bit of extra steps everytime you need to get into a parameter to edit it you have to resize the window and reset the size and placement of the 3d graph display and orientation.

Hey, so... This is fantastic and all, but now do I need to rebuild all of my 10+ scan configs I built over the years in the new scanner? This is going to be a major pissoff guys..

Build one config in 3.0 and you'll see how much less time it takes than 2.24. There is filtering and searching to make the whole process MUCH MUCH quicker. It's no where near as difficult and time consuming as it was in 2.24

Damn ... installing the 3.0 delete the previous 2.24 version.

Do you have a download link to the last 2.24 version (to install it on another computer).

I have a lot a work and config on 2.24 scanner. +Virtual VE tool I've customized for 2.24 editor.

Is Virtual VE fonction effective in 3.0 ?

Okay, so I am able to build up a new scanner layout pretty quickly. Without having a car here to test on, I was able to build one using previously captures logs.

I had to scrape myself off the ceiling and go take some advil and drink water. This trainwreck isn't so bad afterall, but just a massive pain in the butt.

Having trouble getting fuel rail pressure for the LNF to show in the Histogram area, but can see it in the left hand display.

We understand COMPLETELY!!! We will do our best to make this as easy as possible for everyone.

We're confident in the new scanner interface. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Sure, it is different, but, it's better!

Is it just me, or has anyone else been using this for a while? Seems like it has been in the Beta for a long time.
