Sonofabitch....... OK, that's cool. Screw the arrows. Time for a scanner 3.0 for dummies, apparently. I'll volunteer to be the test dummy. I won't even have to pretend.

You can click and scrub all over the scroll bar now.

Or just left click on the chart itself, then move your mouse over to the right, past the edge, and keep the left mouse button clicked..

Based on your technique, i'd bet you missed KR before, or have to go over your data multiple times because of lack of focus, distractions, etc.. Scrubbing such a fine level like you do is really a bad way to do it.

The proper way is to zoom out, find your issue, and zoom in.. you can do all of this from the mouse.

See, that is where I disagree. After trying to the same thing in 3.0 that I do in 2.4, I actually *miss* more KR - either becuase I can't see it as well when zoomed out or becuase I can't move the "handle" smoothly enough with the mouse.

Also, I did try holding the mouse button down and scrolling past the edge and it moves the graph data once and them stops, until I go back into the graph and move it past the edge again. I'd love it if it kept scrolling after moving past the edge - that is exaclty what I'm trying to go - keep the chart moving just by holding down the mouse button.

The reason this is such a big deal for me is that the way my 'workstation" is setup, I did everything with the mouse in 2.24 - the keyboard is slightly out of reach with the way I have things setup now.

Anyway, looks like I'll etiher have to change things (physical and/or software setup) or just keep using 2.24 scanner for now! :-)

Jiggle the mouse up and down and it will contiue the scrub. THe farther past the edge you move your mouse, the faster it scrubs.

That log opens and looks fine to me. Post a screenshot of what you're seeing.

Yeah, I know that "jiggling" the mouse makes it move, but that just doens't work going through a large log or logs! :-) Might be good for my hand/arm muscles, but not for tuning! :-)

For now, I'll just stick with v2.24 - it works perfectly for my needs. I tried to use 3.0, but it just doesn't benefit me for my uses of the product. If I *need* to upgrade at some point (newer car, etc), I'll do that when the need arises.

    Thanks for the input!

    i got it.
There is still the bug for regional settings.
If i replace , with . it shows correctly the AFR!!!
See in the two pictures the difference in the decimal also on other values and chart (0,8 1,2...)
Can you correct the bug for next version?

So when will 3.0 actually read codes from a 2016 Corvette?

Do you see the DTC's in the VCM Suite info, in the controller info area?

Feedback on this issue has also been pretty rough.

Don't see LC1 as an option for Lambda, wasn't it listed in the older versions? Or has it only been AFR listed? I am now using 3.019

    thanks!

I don't have any 2016 Corvettes with codes currently, but I can go scan one and see what populates. I guess I could always unhook the MAF and set a code just to see.

Anything specific you would like me to look for?

Any other 2016 Chevrolet vehicles that you would like looked at. I have full access to all of them pretty much.

Nothin. Had a car on the dyno that would throw a code, but when hitting read DTCs, it wouldn't populate. DTC reading worked fine on a 2011 V though (same software build which is from this morning).

Just checked my 2012 CTS-V, forced it to have a code, and it worked fine. Unfortunately, I don't have much else to test it on at the moment. I don't know if it's an E92 thing or a 2016 thing.

Anytime I attempt to export a data log in from scanner in csv format it shuts down the scanner and sends an error report. Message says "An item with the same key has already been added." Any suggestions? Just sent error report again. Thx.

Post the log that you're trying to export data from.
