Some say the LC1 works for them and not for others. Could it be the serial adapters being different?

I tried 3 different adapters one of which was directly from innovate just to be sure, an all have had the exact same results.

I have 3 ALM Ecotron 4.9 widebands and I use serial comms in efilive with them all the time, so can provide feedback if you add support in your software that would be appreciated. Prior to serial support it's 1 of the main reasons i didn't use hpt as my primary software choice.

The comms spec document is here:

Has LC-2 been fixed? What advantages are there for running serial input vs running it through the HP Tuners MPVI? I've heard that serial is slower, is it slow enough to effect readings in a negative way?

Any news with plx? I have it running via scanxl no problem, on hpt scanner disappears.
If you need some tests, I can do for you.
