It because too difficult to separate the multitude of ECM's per year/vehicle type.
Thus, as you get more recent in the years, there are some blurry lines.
You'll have to contact Sales for the full list of what we actually classify has Gen 4. It's an HP Tuners list, not a list maintained by GM or their engine suppliers.
