Express Van ECM 411 conversion questions

In the process of putting an '02 6.0 in my friends 96 k1500. I have on hand an '02 express 2WD van ECM for a 5.7. I am hoping i can convert this ECM to a '02 6.0 4WD Silverado ECM. So far i've figured out the Vin # change will change the labeling in the description box and the segment swapper tool should hopefully get all of the right tables swapped over. However i have a few more questions before i feel confident in buying the credits for the Express ECM and making all the changes. Hoping somebody out there knows and is willing to help:
1.) The express van is a GMT 610 and the silverado would be an 800, can i simply change the Platform drop down box in the system tab and that would be sufficent?
2.) The express van is a 4x crank signal and of course the 6.0 will be 24x. Can i just change the System Options Matrix -> Crank Low Res to a 0 to make this change. It's currently a 1 in the express van table.
3.) Are there any 4wd segments? My friends truck will be a manual, but it does have some 4wd control associated with the ECM, are they any segment or changes to the ECM i need to be aware of?

Answer what you can if you don't know all of them.

Worst case is i'll drop $100 at the dealer to have the entire VIN and OS flashed on this ECM. But i was hoping to save that $ and just use what i have.

Why do you need the vin the same? I would think your could copy a stock tune to that ecm getting rid of the express files all together. Just my thoughts tho.

I already have credits assigned to multiple silverado VIN #'s. If i could use one of those, i'd save the $100 the dealer would charge me to flash the entire Express van ECM. My thoughts are that i can buy the credits for the 02 Express van 5.7 ECM, do a VIN change to a silverado of the same year/6.0. And then just segment swap everything i would need to run the 6.0, NV3500 and 4WD. The GMT platform change (610 to 800) and the system option change from 4x (1) crank sig to 24x (0) are my biggest "what-if". Last night i figured, if i were to buy the credits for the express van ECM, and it didn't work, i wouldn't be out anything (just the $100 dealer flash charge that would be obviously required anyways).....since HPtuner's credits are assigned to a VIN/Serial Number/OS # combination. I would already have the credit-registration for all 3 of those if i were to use a VIN off a rig i already have credit-registered.

That's what i'm thinking, But i might as well give it a shot, and then i'll know for sure. Or i could send support a message with the calibration.

Just in case this saves you spending (or trying to save based on false expectations) money unnecessarily, VCM licensing isn't strictly on VIN/OS per se. It licences single vehicles based upon VCM ID which isn't tied to the VIN. The only time VIN plays a part is for multi-car licences such as year/model/type e.g. 01 Camaro/Firebird. Just wanted to let you know that in case it influences your decision or inadvertently costs you money.

Yeah i knew it was based on VCM ID (serial number). The reason i mention registration to the VIN is for a VIN swap you have to own (have credits registered) for both VIN's. So if i bought the credits for the express van ECM (its serial number/VCMID), it should be registered, even if i have it reflashed with a different VIN/vehicle (that i already have credits for) by the dealer for another $100, as the VCM ID shouldn't change.

Did you ever figure out the low res setting in "system options" (changed from 1 to a 0 ) trying to get 4x to 24x enabled? Im aware of how old this is but im having this same issue.
