P59 pcm OS 12587603 i am looking for a 5.3 4l60e dbc stock tune. PLZ Help.

    p59 pcm os 12587603

i have a 2004 silverado 1500 4x4 4.3 v6 4l60e truck. i did a 5.3 swap with an 04 5.3 but used a dbc tb and intake since the 4.3 was dbc already. i am looking for a 5.3 4l60e drive by cable stock tune. i know the vans can support the iac and tps but have not actually found a van tune that is dbc. any help plz.

or what dtc's and systems are involved in making the dbw tune into a dbc?

    Hi,
From my understanding only 03 or 04 express vans came set up as a drive by cable with a green and blue computer, you could try to find one of those tunes maybe on the tune repository. Otherwise you will have to switch to a red and blue computer which will require you to modify your harness. Also just swapping to drive by cable might require you to modify a few things as well.

Did you buy a swap harness or are you reworking a used one?
I would recommend buying a new harness from a company like PSI conversion as they can set up a harness to any combination you would like to run.

the truck was a 4.3 v6 and most of the connectors were used in the 5.3. i then added coil wires, injector wires, and cam sensor wires. the v6 was dbc already with iac and tps so i know the pcm will support dbc. i have a p59 gto tune which is dbc but all the perimeters are wrong for the 5.3. if i have to switch to a 0411 i will but since i already spent the 2 credits on this pcm im trying to make it work. thanks.

Ok sorry, I must have skipped over where you said it was DBC to start out with. Like I said before, That van is the only application that I know of where they used a DBC setup on a green and blue computer. I believe I saw one of those tunes in the repository at some point. I thought I also had one saved on my computer but I couldn't find it. I usually stick with using green and blue (242) for DBW only. I Use the red and blue (411) for DBW and DBC.

if the PCM has the drivers in it, go to System -> System button -> and switch the ETC field from 1 to 0. this puts it in DBC mode. With that you should be able to use the original Os that was on it when you got it.
