Interface not detected by Windows

I was reading out a 2008 F250 6.4 PS when the usb interface connection dropped out and the lights went off on the interface. The read was aborted and was able to start the truck just fine.

I was not able to reconnect to the truck the green light is on and in the device manager the interface is not shown. I tried the interface on another laptop plugged into my Pontiac I have power to pin 16 at the aldl port and the same issue. I was able to test my usb ports on both laptops with another scanner cable i have so i know my usb ports are good.

Is this under warranty still? What would be the cost to repair it if not? Would HPtuners be able to recover the licenses ive used and have not used yet on my dead interface?

I purchased it 4/8/2015 from summit racing.

I did they got me fixed up i had to purchase another interface.
