Need opinions on state of tune

just looking feedback on where I am at

this did 348/349 and ran a 12.94@108. and back it up with 12.98@108 with a handful of 13.0xx"s max amount of knock I getting is .7 to 1.3 that in 4750 to 5250 every once in while.

don't be too brutel. I had to be quick about on the dyno, just change the pe table to get right afr coming off the tail pipe. will fix at a later date.

well this board has an error when I uploaded, here a link to ls1gto.com.

Looking at the VE table it goes down (???) from 90 to 100 Kpa?
PE fuel starts at 1.15 and goes to 1.19. Guessing you started out safe & will work on that part. You eventually want the commanded = actual AFR. You can accomplish this with street tuning albiet carefully...

Spark table has a wierd valley in it at 5200. Could probably use a little smoothing. Were you getting repeated knock there? If so take out a bit of timing just before the knock RPM. Sometimes that helps out greatly.

While you're tuning turn COT off. Keeps you from wondering WTH happend to my AFR.

I would turn on the fans a bit earlier temperature-wise. No settings for a 160 thermostat but Chris says it's hard coded in the ECM anyway. leave 192 alone but go to 50% at 196 F and poly blend up to where it is at 90%.

Yep I was, I have had that "valley" on the my pickup and this car. seem when I raise timing in that area, I get knock lots of it. I can raise the timing before and after nothing. I have had to area before lower, did not help, but I know what your thinking is on this.
actually starts at 4400 to 5200, according to the dyno, this is peak torque area.

Is seem like other cars ve,maf, pe tables don't tranfer the same. seem that even though engines made the same, are still different. I need to redo my maf,ve tables for MY car. then pe will command actual afr.

    ps.
    just smoothed my spark.

Sounds good. Can't wait to hear how it behaves.

I'm not surprised at the valley 4000-5200 just the smoothing around it. LSx series motors usually drop a bunch of timing there. I have had *stock* motors go as low as 18 degrees at 4000-4400 to keep them out of knock. Must have a bit more piston out of the hole & slightly smaller chamber. Plus the spec. on the crank sensor is +/- 2 deg from the factory.

Add all that up and you can create a multitude of engines with stock parts!
