Well another newb on the loose

Random84, schpenxel - here is the tune I am working on now. I am sure it will be a mess, but idle is 750rpm, and I have a 175* thermostat.

On fueling your short pulse limit should be 3 and your Makeup Pulse Min should be .125 across the table. Other than that you have the basics for injectors down for ID850s as far as I can see comparing to my ZL1 tune when I was running them. The rest you have some work as everyone has said. If you ever get this to Montana I could help and I have a DynoJet Dyno to finish the tune on.

I am going to put in a shameless plug in for Dr. Mike's work here. I owned to different widebands before buying two (one for each bank) AEM 30-0333 OBD2 type devices. Would never go back. Today I just converted a friend (4 year tuner) over to these. Jumped in a car plugged it in and boom. Perfectly synced lambda data in HP Tuners. No ground offset issues on serial cables and they are FAST. FYI I learned that I have 1 bank running 2% leaner than the other and with the E67 you and I both have I was able to adjust that to make the banks match.

Here is another piece of advice. My car which had a build similar but with a TVS2300 Heartbeat is sitting in the garage right now waiting to be tore down because I bet it all on a cheap part that failed. Seems GM knows that the oil pumps (even in the ZL1 which is supposed to be 33% better) have issues. So while sitting at an idle the pump lost pressure causing the steel gears of the pump to cut into the aluminum housing and send fragments all through the block. Ran for less than 10 seconds that way but 9.9999 seconds too long. REPLACE the oil pump and be careful to do it right.

So is it normal for the wide band to fluctuate so much? Thought the IFE would be more stable...

Fuel trims are still at like -26% throughout the entire log and the WB is still reading rich, so something still isn't right.

Post the tune you were using for that last log

your idling pretty rich 12.xx and your timing looks to be jumping all over the place...between 8 and 20 advance. that's a lot of drift. think you have some work ahead of you from just looking at that one log. if im not mistaken you seem hesitant to post up your tune, im sure you would get some valuable feedback if you did.

Sorry go to bed early, so here is the tune and last log, this morning it all changed.... Do not know why, yes something is still messed up. Yes, Wong in Vancouver Wa. did the tune on my car. I asked him to use the ID850 data he said it was not necessary....

All I have done to the tune so far is add the ID850 data, clean up the idle speed screens so they match and cooling fans for lower temp thermostat.
