I was still strapping it down. I will usually leave straps a little loose, block the front wheels, unlock the roller and get the wheels rolling slowly just to let the rear of the car center itself on the roller. then I tighten the straps down tight and there is less rubber on the floor behind the roller and more rubber on the tires when I am done. We are located on the south end of Pompano Beach. And to be completely honest I would be enjoying things a lot more if vcm scanner didn't just change so much. lol.

Cool. I am in Boynton/Del Ray Beach, pretty close. I'll take a trip down to the shop one of these days to say Hi. Let me know if there is anything you need as far as scanner operation/questions go. Can actually either tie in remotely or even do a house call :-)

I realize that you asked this a long time ago at this point, and maybe you already figured this out, but did you consider using a OBD2 y-splitter like this?

I didn't even know they existed until I started digging into this thread (http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showth...d-beta-testers) and got interested in trying to make that setup work with my Viper. I'm using the splitter to actually put data on the CAN BUS so I can pull it back off with the VCM Scanner, but it should work the way you need it to, too.

    Just a thought...
