What are you guys changing
Just wondering for a stock 2003 silverado what are you guys changing? As far as I know to do ve/maf, torque management , maybe some spark timing on a cruise, annnnnddddd??? Thanks in advance guys not really looking for power or mileage just wanting to play around with with tuning.

What you change depends on where you're starting from
and where you want to go.
A stock(ish) vehicle may not need airflow (MAF, VE) to be
touched at all. I would look at some of the timing and fuel
behaviors that dog the trucks, like over-enthusiastic burst
knock retard and delayed power enrichment. Copy what you
see on cars of similar compression ratio, as a first stab.
The best thing you can do if you want to be a good tuner,
is learning to log the right things and understand what that
is telling you. Otherwise you're a blind man with a shotgun
and that always ends well.

Thanks Jimmy blue! I do know how efi engines work quite well (4th generation autotech) but I still have tons to learn as far as tuning
