maxing the maf?
stock 05 GTO LS2 with a twin turbo kit at about 7 psi. I did my VE tables and got them within 4% and then did the lower to mid maf frequency to match. Today is the first day of no rain in the last week and a half so I decided to do some wot tuning.
I changed the trans setting so there's no downshift out of third gear from 45 mph or so. I didn't slam the throttle down as I was not sure of the a/f or if the maf would be an issue. At 11315hz it jumped to "0" then briefly back on, then back to "0". Of course the car responded in kind. I was only at 60% tps. I have the maf patch for 15000hz in and the a/f was at 11.5. Didn't lean until it hit "0" maf.
Is this the blowthrough maf pegging? Why if it is re-scaled to handle 15000 hz? I'm only at 4600 rpm and 60% throttle (5 psi) so I thought it would go beyond this.
What is the solution?
