    411 swap using 462

I am trying to do the 411 swap to 99 vortec but am using the 462 pcm
Which is 12589462 with the iac drivers installed, so my question would be do I still flash the 2001 savana from the 411
To it , and does anyone know how to change the vin due to emissions.

    Any help would be great.

I think the 12589462 PCM is from an 05-07 vehicle...so it's not going to be compatible with code from a 2001 van.

I think that code from an 05 van with a cable throttle will run your engine is you turn on the "crank low res" setting in the system options matrix, but I'm not positive of that.

To really do what you want, the easiest solution is to get a 99-2002 PCM with red and blue connectors, rather than red and green. This will be compatible with the 2001/2002 van code that's already really setup for the Vortec 350 engine.

The harness is almost the same, you can compare the pinouts of the 2, and swap the green covers on the connector for red and make it work.

Ya I been thinking that as well and I forgot about the crank sensor my reads 4x and 462 reads 24x.
    Thank you for your input.
