2015 Polaris Sling Shot Tuning Support?

I received a few calls from owners of 2015 Polaris Sling Shots looking for tunes and I was wondering if you would be supporting this platform. They have a 2.4L Ecotec V4 in them and looks like a GM controller. I haven't been able to read the ECM as of yet. The vehicle haven't been to my shop yet. Will I be able to read the vehicles and program them? This could be a neat little niche to break into.

I emailed Polaris about this exact thing some time ago, this is the email I received in response.

Thank you for contacting Polaris Industries Inc. regarding the new Polaris Slingshot. I understand that you are looking for information pertaining the ECM used in the Slingshot. This was a joint collaboration with GM and Polaris. The software is supported by Polaris only and is designed for the Slingshot exclusively. Connect to the vehicle with VCM Suite 2.25 and get a VCM Suite Info log. Send that to support, and that will give us a bit more information.

They use a marine based E78 if I remember correctly. Sorry but we cannot give an eta for these.

So it's likely the MEFI 6 or MEFI 7.. "soon"

Should be a MEFI 6. There is only one "end user" software option out there to tune these, that I know of. You can PM me if interested. I don't think I should advertise other software in here.

It is a mefi 6 ecm. Bob at mefi burn is doing tunes and has dyno time and sells flashes for the ecm with turbo and other upgrades. Not sure if he is just selling the tunes only or software. Hope HP decides to add them soon. Hope this info helps.

It is a MEFI 6. We've converted them to E67 with our Stand Alone harness and tune with ease.
