Have not used HPT software in 5-6 Years - Need to install on new laptop running W10

Have not used HPT software in 5-6 Years so I'm 100% back to Total Newb. (Wrecked my 2002 C5 ZO6 and shortly after my laptop PC stolen from my truck. Still have the HPT Software / hardware and want to get started again on a 99 Corvette and 2011 Silverado 1500) I have new laptop running W10 and after inserting disc, serial number and password I go to setup.exe then get a message to install .NET framework 2.0. W10 is telling me this is already part of W10. I don't know what to do, can someone please help get me started.

Have you tried downloading the latest version of the HPTuners software from your customer page? Myabe the version you have is too old for modern versions of Windows...

Thanks for the "Silver Bullet" !

It's starting to download. Coming back to this software after so long when I was just a beginner in the first place it looks pretty intimidating.

Looking forward to beginning all over again.

I too will be getting back into it. Looking at a 2008 Cadillac SRX 3.6.
Shortly after my Regal went bye bye (rust) My lap top "disposed of" the VCM suite. Why? don't know. perhaps my anti virus...
I had no need to reboot the HPT program, nothing to tune or scan. But, this SRX may be in my future.
Is there anything extra I also need to know to reboot the HPT program. Same laptop running Windows-7. (as before)
The Regal has been laid to rest..... rust
Now have an 06 Lucerne with the 3.8 and wishing HPT would cover that car
Loved my 2001 Buick Regal GS.
With more than 334,000K, 3.4 & 3.6 pulley, Change stats and pulleys with the seasons, Upgraded grounds & power wire, Volt booster, Caspers timing commander(AKA happy knob), Spectra intake-fender wall, PLog, 3" DP & 2.5 exhaust, HPTunner 12" Impala duel piston front brakes, New trans,GMPP suspension... yada, yada...
