Vehicle Speed reads 158 MPH for GM 4.8L LY2 with E38 on the dyno

I am a new user and recently purchased HP Tuners software to get a GM 4.8L LY2 engine running on the dyno. I am using an E38 ECM P/N 12612384 with a stock tune for a 2008 Chevy Express 2500 with manual transmission, factory wiring harness and a GM Tech 2 with SPS programming. The engine runs and makes 344 lb-ft and 290 hp.

I am wondering if someone can help me. I am having trouble with the Vehicle Speed data PID in the Tech 2. It always reads 158 MPH no matter what settings I use for VSO or SOT. I would like to make the Vehicle Speed read 0 MPH so I can perform the crank/cam synchronization procedure.

I have tried searching other posts/threads/internet in general and have not found a solution. I know others have run into the same problem but I cannot find the fix for the ECM. I do not care about a speedometer, I just need the ECM to read 0 MPH on the dyno.
