Thread: NGK AFX Wideband questions?

  1. #1

    NGK AFX Wideband questions?

I have noticed that when I tune strictly with the wideband for part throttle tuning I get an afr error of 0 to -2.

But when I turn the O2 narrowbands back on and go back into closed loop my LTFT's read between +2 to +9.

I let it free air calibrate for about 35 to 40 minutes.

Do I need a new wideband sensor?

    Or is this common?

I am just getting 2 different data from the wideband and narrowbands.

Did you check/search for voltage offset?

Yes, I am using the preset VCM aux NGK AFX insert that VCM provides for the wideband.

Are the WB display and HP Tuners report identical? if not how close?

Also if you used the can WB PID, then you can't adjust the offset so if it turns out you do hav an offset issue, let me know nd I will help you with that.
