    3.8 Tuning Guide

I have a 2003 Grand Prix that I built years ago, however never completely finished and am running detuned at the moment. I finially have gotten around to digging my laptop and HPTuners out of the garage and have the itch to finish what I started. Years ago I used some kind of Grand Prix "tuning bible" to learn the basics and make some of the easy table modifications. It went over the engine and transmission basics. Does that still exist? I've forgotten which cells/tables to modify and which ones to leave alone. Is there a good document out there still for a beginner such as myself?

    Thank you.

Depending on whats done, they pretty simple to tune.

The PCM is pretty dumb really, it has 1/5th the tables to adjust compared to a V8 PCM. Likely less than 10-15 tables in all need to be changed on a 3800.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.
