    Wide open Timing issues

recent ls1 swap in a c10, truck ran good for the first week and pulled pretty hard, noticed it started to bog under wide open throttle after about a week of driving. I took a few data logs and noticed its only commading 16 degrees of timing at 100% tps. we have it set at 26 degrees in those cells on the tune. ive adjusted the retard on the iat's to not pull anything until 120degrees or higher and haven't seen any knock retard. the MAF is unplugged for datalogging the ve tables. what could cause it to command only 10 degrees less than whats in the tune?

Log the PID Knock learn factor. 0 says use Hi Octane table timing excursively, 1 says use lo octane table timing. Values in between will show the weighting of pulling timing from the hi octane table based on knock events. Same as Octane Scalar in EFI Live. Any knock will increment value and no knock periods will decay the value slowly back to 0. For a quick check, set the lo octane table equal to the hi octane and see what your commanded timing is. If it goes back to what you expect then check to see where you are experiencing knock.

Post a tune and logs to help

Take the MAF PIDs out of the table display and you will see that is exactly the timing you are commanding. The timing histogram does not populate correctly when in SD while logging MAF in the table display. Or look at the Cylinder Airmass value to see what line in the timing table you are actually in, not the timing histogram.
