So I removed the 6L80 in favor of the 4L60. The 4L60 is now controlled by a pcs tcm. Using a Tech2 I put marked the manual trans option in the BCM. My problem is when trying to flash the ECM it fails on validating license and a box appears that says TCM is not found - Flash file requires a TCM. Please load a file that is compatible with this vehicle or rectify TCM communication issue. Not sure what to do now. Any advice will be much appreciated.
did the tech 2 program the 4L60?
the TCM OS is different and you need to pull the file off the car first
