Disable maf above 7500hz or wot?

When I first got my truck it has a LQ4 with full bolt ons tuned by maf only. I did heads and cam swap and tuned it SD only with wideband and drove for months. Recently decided to try to tune the maf table and the driveability is so much smoother. I don't have my wideband in at the moment. Is there a way to disable the maf over this value or at wot so it doesn't try to mix the maf and ve together and throw my WOT AFR off sine the VE is correct and the MAF is not correct over 7500hz? Run it this way till I put my wideband back in.

Would disabling the code and setting the MAF fail frequency to 7500hz do this or is there another setting in Dynamic airflow section Im not understanding.

    That's a good question.

If it was me, I wouldn't try to worry about it right now and just get your wide band connected and tune it right. I would think if you change the MAF Fail Frequency, it would change the calibration of the MAF, not sure though. JMO
