Thread: Hard Rev Limit Around 7700.

    Indeed it is.

    On the stock file in my car I'm pretty sure I was able to go to around 7900. Now with a different strategy (switched for a few reasons) it will only hit about 7700. Logs I have from tuning pulls stop in the mid 7700s.

    We can make power up this high; would be nice to have cushion from the rev limiter when shifting; as well as a few more rpm to stretch the legs a bit.

    Having to shift 5th is going to kill me in the 1/4. Are we any closer on this?

    3.73 rear gear and 285/40/18 tire (27") I've been rolling through with the shift light on for 2 years...7400 setpoint.

    Last track day of last year I hit the limiter on a couple passes due to piss poor launches.
