LNF Suddenly Sounds Like A Badass Cammed V8 @ Idle?

Idle instantly lopey and getting misfires at higher rpm? Regardless of how amazing it sounds at idle, you'll want to replace your vvt actuator solenoids. They're the two things sticking up in the front middle of the cam cover. They're a little tough to wiggle out because of the oring, and there is a specific part for the intake and exhaust. ~$30 each. You may want to keep the killer lope for a day or two, though.

I'd suspect this to happen to 2007's as they redesigned the solenoids. I've noticed a couple other 07's have this failure last year.

I was just going for the one that people would really recognize. I have to admit, I told MikeM I thought for awhile about whether or not I wanted to fix it. If it didn't affect performance...
