    Not getting full timing commanded

    Not getting full timing commanded



    2003 ls1 gto my car is pulling timing somewhere and i cant figure out how to fix it. At Wot my car is only showing 22.5 degrees of timing when it should be 24 i have any knock,i zeroed iat ,ect,and afr base tables. It would help if you guys could take a look.

    Any dtc? On my 98 vortec with a camshaft / crankshaft correlation code the timing was capped at 22.5. Got the distributor adjusted properly and the timing went higher like it was supposed too. I know you have a different engine I just thot maybe you've got a sensor down or something.

    Unless I missed it, I ony see a .5 error and it is really .49. It appears the resolution on the scanner is .5 degrees and there may be some rounding math going on internally. the 22.5 being shown on the log relates to 22.99 in the tune?
