    Few issues with first tune.

    1. I have ford green tops 42lbs, i've followed the tuning school for setting up the injectors......does that look right?
    2. I can not get LTFT's to populate on my histograms, can anyone find an obvious reason that i am missing?
    3. I'm having a terrible time getting the car to idle, seems like it wants 10.0+g/sec in the 180-215* temp range, and even then when i put the car into R or D the RPM's go down to about 400 and then the car will stumble and die. Again, anything obvious?

Green top 42 data different than what i use but looks like it is in the ball park, TPS max is 5%, MPH hits 158 with no throttle, no o2 sensor activity (sitting at 450 mv) but tune is in closed loop? etc

What is the setup? What is your tuning plan?....

The MPH was because i did not reset the gears, as i have the VSS spliced into a front wheel speed sensor. This is so i can have a speedo with the TH400 in the car. I do not know why i dont have o2 activity, that i one problem i am trying to correct. I had turned the maf off (fail freq = 0 ) set PE throttle hot/cold to 100, and DFCO enable temp to 250. I was following the tuning school book and going to try to get my VE to +/- 3

    Setup
    6.0L iron block SBE
    TFS 225's
    GMPP Cam 227/239
    FTI TH400 w/ 3800 stall.

Is this a swap? if so what and into what? Did you set DTC P0101-0103 to fail on first error? Why PE throttle to 100....thats bad!.....if tuning with trims, must get o2's working.

2000 Trans Am WS6. Yes DTC's were set to fail on first error, PE was set to 100 per the book for part throttle tuning.

Not a fan for disabling PE....needed to protect high load enrichment requirements (>80kPa and 50% throttle)....Leaves it to the tuner to make sure he or she doesnt venture into the dark side. Your Lambda/AFR error PID should be based on your commanded Lambda/AFR (fixed value) and as such will reflect the error of the MAF/VE cell which you are tuning (variable value). There is no reason to shut off the PE in my books. As you are street tuning, the secret is very small pedal movements collecting steady state data as you go.

Not a problem, I'll set the PE throttle hot and cold back to their respective settings. So my histogram #7 (VE-AFR Error) I need to set up a custom pid using this equation?
    100*((([SENS.120]/14.7)-[PID.68])/[PID.68])

All Pids used in the AFR error PID have to be included in your Table. Once you do that, then it will be supported. Most likely you need to add commanded AFR Hi Res, but check it out. Also, delete as many PIDs as you can in your .cfg. Keep the total PID count at bottom left of Table to 24 or less. Too many and you lose accuracy and sampling rate.
