    9379910 OS 4l80e segment swap

I have a 91 GMC crew cab truck. It has a factory installed 4l80e, and I have pulled the 454 and swapped in a 5.3. I'm running the factory ECU, and harness that came with the 5.3 engine. I have added the input sensor wiring and switched the wires in the trans plug already. I have even changed the EPC solenoid to be compatible with the later ECU. I finally have the 2.25 beta to do the swap. BUT,,, I have the dreaded 9379910 OS... I cant find a compatible OS with the 4l80e trans segment. I have searched and searched, down loaded 20+ bin files and having found anything. I find other people asking the same question but they never post the how they got around it. I don't what to run a relay and use the 60 file because I have cammed the engine and installed a 3400 stall converter. I want to be able to dial it in.

Anybody have a bin file with a 4l80e with the 9379910 OS ?

Should I get a 411 ECU and flash in a bin file for a 5.3 / 4l80e? I have not licensed my old ECU or Bin yet.

The truck is ready to drive but I need to get this straighten out first.

I'm new to tuning, and learning on my own, my own trucks. Thanks

might be easier to do do a vin and os change to one that is more common and has more readily available 4l80 segments.

Would it be best to do a "write inter" to change the OS in my 9354896 ECU? I found a few files in the tune repository for a 6.0 with 4l80e. Can I license that file, and my ECU and write in it? I don't want to burn up credits, or mess up my ECU.

Here is the Bin from the repository. Can someone please let me know that I'm on the right track.

    Thanks

I'm curious too. I wanna lose the lousy 9379910 OS and switch to something more prepped for a 4l80E but I already licensed the old OS. Do I have to use more credit for it? Can I do anything here to save them? and will this Tune work on any 99-02 PCM?

PS my stock tune has a option in the trans section for a 4l80E, could it be the tune you need to do the segment swap since we have the same OS? In that case I might not need to change my OS.
