    6l80 downshifts too hard

    2012 GMC Sierra 6.2 6l80

When cruising at 60 mph and we stomp the gas to the floor, it downshifts from 6th to 3rd very hard. I'm having a hard time figuring out what I need to adjust to soften it up.

    Scan and tune are included
    Downshift occurs at frame 4737

I'm no expert on the 6L80, but try this? Yours is set to disabled. Stock is enabled. You also have other torque management disabled. Shift pressures seemed stock.

I agree with him, like literally all of the torque management is disable.

That is exactly why it shifts too hard.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

Also, the "Speed Control Terminate" is set to "Immediate". Usually, it's set to "Torque Ramp" by default. May help to soften things up a little. If you want to make the shifts a little faster and firmer, try reducing the shift times instead of disabling torque management alltogether.

Thank you for the help. I will try those new settings and let you know how it turns out.
