2003 Silverado 2Bar IAT

059 Operating System in an 03 Silverado running the 2bar SD custom system. can I use a 2.5Bar Tmap from the cobalt SS and recalibrate the map and IAT. i see no reason why I cant. However I dont see any one really doing this in a gen3. If I cant what are people using for an intake manifold mounted IAT in gen3 applications?

I've done it using a Bosch T-map on a P59, but what I found is that the T-map heat soaked really bad and took a long time to cool back to actual intake temps. My application is turbocharged in an aluminum intake near the rear of the engine so it may act different up front, but I have since switched back to a conventional GM screw-in IAT mounted lower in the charge pipe, after the intercooler. Much more consistent readings this way.
