    Data rate

    Is there a way to adjust data rate in 2.24? I'd like to log data faster than what I'm currently getting.

    Not in 2.24. This is from the help file. Short answer is keep your logging bytes as low as possible for the best resolution. Instead of a "1 config to log all" approach, I try to streamline my configs for specific tasks to keep speeds up, when possible.

    Bytes Used and Total Bytes Allowed
    Each vehicle platform has a specific number of data bytes allocated for diagnostic scanning. What this means is that you can only ask for a limited amount of PIDs depending on the vehicle you are connected to. Some vehicles support 24 bytes, some support 48, and others support 56.

    Also, not all PIDs are only 1 byte in length. Some PID's are 2 bytes, and others are 4 bytes in length.

    The table display window status bar will tell you how many bytes you have allocated and how many you are allowed to allocate.

    Logging Speed
    Logging speed is dependant on the number of bytes you are logging, and the total number of bytes allowed.
    The charts below list the average frames per second you will see based on the number of bytes you are scanning (on the left) versus the number of bytes allowed (on the top).

    Remember that Status Bits also contribute to the Byte consumption -- however they're automatically grouped to be less wasteful.
