commanded timing higher than should be!!

Worded title wrong!! Timing is higher than the commanded timing!!

Hey guys I have a 2006 Chevy 2500HD 6.0 with 4L80. My commanded timing should be 26. And i'm getting 28 to 31 degrees instead. Which is causing the truck to knock and pull timing. Truck is bone stock other than a CAI. I have looked thru the sticky thread about this I have adjusted some files but not sure if others need to be zero'd out. Im pretty new to this so any help would be greatly appreciated!!

A brief log of when this is happening would be very helpful. There are several multipliers that come into effect and will add or subtract timing depending on a variety of conditions. Without a log where you experience the problem, there is no accurate way to determine the root cause.

At a minimum I would log: Timing advance, retard, RPM, Inlet air temp, coolant temp, cylinder airmass, MAP, throttle position, ignition voltage and alcohol percent as a start.
