I'm still confused with the way the engine timing operates in the Cooperhead , where is my timing if adding timing to the borderline table OP or WOT lambda doesn't seem to stick exactly as commanded ?
For example, in the borderline OP i'm commanding 21* at 4k rpm, then 22* from 5000 and above, at .90 load
WOT lambda is 3* from 3k rpm, and as a test, I made that 4* from 4000 and 5000rpm, flashed it and gave the car a run in 3rd gear, technically I should gotten 26* in the 4k to 5k rpm area, and instead I've got the same timing I had from the previous calibration or 21*, ?? maybe the WOT lambda timing is just trying to blend the total timing it can add depending on other variables and won't give me the exact number i'm telling it to put down in the WOT lambda table ?
Which brings me to the next question, I see in the borderline mapped points the total timing is different among all the tables in the .90 load rows, the tables have different values for the same rpm/load points for that matter, but i'l use the .90 load rows for simplicity in the question
So if i'm commanding for example 22* in the borderline OP from say 4000rpm and up in the .90 load rows, should I also populate those 22* in the borderline mapped points tables at the same .90 load ?
attaching a couple of files and logs, stang25 are the files from yesterday, stang26 are the ones from today
Thanks a lot.
