    VCM Std vs Pro

Regarding the Pro vs Std differences (0-5v features in the Pro version aside), I am not understanding the Pro "black box data datalogging for select vehicles":

    - Does this mean that a Laptop is required to log real-time data using the Std version, while a laptop is not required using the Pro version? I know there is some further information in the FAQ Forum and I have watched the Standalone Data Logging video, but it is still not clear to me if the Pro Version is required for data logging without a laptop connection.

    Thank you.

    Std Vs. Pro

This seems like a pretty simple question. If I can't get this answered on the forum, how can I get this answered?

Correct, you'd need the PRO to data log without the laptop. That is how I understand it.

If you plan to run outputs to HP tuners like a wideband or something, you'd want to get the PRO. Makes it's easy to setup and no real hassle.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.
