I have a 2009 LNF Cobalt with the E69 ECU. I feel that I may have an issue with mine current ECU because of a few things that just do not make sense. I am borrowing another E69 just to see if the known good ECU fixes my issues. When I swap in the new ECU will I have to buy credits for it? Can I swap the VIN? I only bought credits for my current 2009 LNF.
I have only ever swapped ECU's on LSJ's, but my cable has them all unlocked so I never had an issue.
You will have to license the spare ECU as well.

So when I buy the 2 credits to do so I will have 4 credits on 2009 LNF. If I bought 2 more in the future would the total of 6 for that same year and motor allow me to have it unlocked completely? Or can you only unlock that series all at once?
