Fast 39lbs injector data look right?

Does the injector values look right for these? A friend of mine has a 427 ls3 headed fourth gen. Long story short, he got a mail order tune and it runs horrible. Im going to help him out, i just have no idea how to set up the injectors and the is no point tuning it if those vales are wrong.

    I appreciate any help

Is it possible to get the actual part numbers off the injector?

This is the part number 036584171249. They are the ls3 type injectors with the adapters to the ls1 style plug.

So good news, bad news...the good news they are fast 39 lb.hr injectors rated at 58 psi fuel pressure and the IFR seems close enough. The bad news is they are Fast 39 Lb/hr injectors and no reliable data for SPA, Offset etc exist as far as I know. Maybe someone else has used these injectors and has experieince with them.

The worse news is this tune is a piece of s@%t with MAF data still stock.....is there a MAF sensor installed? If so the tune can't be fueling correct. VE has been modified (why I dont know, unless again there is no MAF and you are running in Speed Density) and 27 degrees of timing up top!!!!

Start over with the tune and get your money back.

Definitely starting over with the tune. The car would barely run at first, ive started over with that IFR.

The maf data was stock and the tuner was told that it had a GM 85mm maf. The maf is hooked up, runs better with out it though. Fueling is completely off, the car wouldnt even rev to 2k rpm.

    Thanks

Get a set a of injectors with known data, return the tune to stock, disable the maf and tune idle and ve, and then re enable the maf if wanted and go from there. I have a set of the FAST 47lb injectors and only the flow rate table is altered in my tune in my truck ( previous owner of the truck). I have been tinkering with the injector settings and cant seem to get them right.

Agree on the injectors. Why would you recommend disabling the MAF? The GM startegy of Blended MAF/VE for 4000 rpm and then filtered MAF after that is a very good way to get a great tune, good response and adaptibility to changing environment.

Map cannot do alone what is achieved with both, it's why they use both! Hell, does anyone seriously think they would install a MAF if the vehicle didn't respond better with it? Race car, sure do what you want. For all of us that actually use our cars daily I would not go without one

I agree, unless humanly impossible, I always leave the car in blended mode...so much more streetable I think....

I could have swore I saw a power adder in the combination. But I was wrong. I was thinking of another thread. ? for ya Mo, if you have a 2 bar speed density OS that has been applied to a pcm, can you still use the MAF and tune it like normal? Reason I ask is I had to pass emissions not to long ago and had to re enable my MAF to pass the readiness checks and the truck seemed to run ok on the stock MAF table even though its a speed density tune with 2 bar OS>
