    ngk afx wideband questions

I'm looking into getting a ngk afx or one of the new ones from Ballenger or dynocom. Is there any difference in the older model ngk afx and more recent ones, I'm looking at a used one that has a transparent red color case. I understand the sensor may be bosch vs newer ntk (any way to visually differentiate between the two?) Other then sensor and case is there any updates/and advantage to the newer widebands?

Between the Dynocom and Ballenger is there a reason to go with one vs the other?

I recall reading that the new model has an update to increase accuracy or reliability and that you can send it to BM be modified for a fee.

We offer all the replacement parts for the Powerdex AFX should you need any. We offer a 7ft, 13ft, & 24ft harness option. We offer the Bosch sensor or 3 NTK sensor variations. The Bosch & NTK are visually different ->

    Bosch Sensor:

Generally though, if you have the translucent red case controller (which is an older model) it will have come with a Bosch Sensor originally. There are no updates to the controller other than the case (yet). We offer a variety of sensors, so that is your choice. We did update the harness with fusing, loom that is smaller and has a higher temperature rating, higher end wire, and we make the harnesses here in the USA. You can upgrade our unit to an AFM1600 which increases the lean range and offers the ability to present lambda units on the display.
