    LHU not starting P0630 ?

    Hi Mates,

I recently flashed a brandnew ECU (E39A) with Vauxhall 2.0 SIDI Turbo Software.
Unfortunately I found out that the VIN will not be set correctly when you write a brandnew ECU.

I think the Software is on the ECU correctly,
the fuel pump primes when I switch Ignition on,
but it does not fire up and the exhaust does not smell like fuel.
So the ECU does not have the intention to start

Can this Troublecode stop the Motor from firing up?

    P0630 - VIN Not Programmed or Incompatible - ECM/PCM

    My VIN is still
    VIN: ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ

But is that the problem that can prohibit Engine Start?

Thank you very much for helping me!

this code should lock the ecu into a no start. its apart of anti theft last i checked....ecu matches vin numbers with the other units (bcm, anti-lock, sps) and if any are non-matching then it throws an incompatible code and locks it into a no start.

    Thanks for the reply!
Actually I don't have any of that units -I just wanted to use PCM.

    I did disable VATS1 and VATS2.
But I think the Troublecode stays because there is no VIN at all?

I will go to the Vauxhall dealer and have the VIN programmed.
