well I got hp tuners installed on my new surface pro 3 and every time I try to read in editor or connect with scanner I get "interface not found...." so I try with my old laptop and no problems. I used the installation disc that came with hp tuners but I don't have any written instructions. is there a driver to install or something?

had to manually install drivers. got a link from support. works great now and im really liking the tablet tuning. I do wish I could increase the font size a little tho
