    5.3 to 6.0 swap

    Im swapping a Lq9 in my rcsb with a 5.3 (l59) and using the stock ecm. lq9 already has a hot cam in it. looking for a startup tune. couldn't find anything in the repository. TIA

    Just take a 6.0 file and use the compare feature, then make changes to your tune.

    Like any cylinder info, maf/ve info, timing etc etc. Thats kinda all you need to do to get a jump start as the computer will know what size the motor is.

    Everything else will be custom because of the camshaft, you'll want a wideband to do true VE and MAF tunes.

    Not using the pcm from the lq9, using the pcm from the 5.3 that was in there stock.

    I know, thats why I said you must take a 6.0 file and use the compare feature to see what is different.

    Then you must copy over some stuff that YOUR 5.3 computer needs to know.
