    Fuel Pump Run

I know there is a way to do it as I had an sct tune that did it. I no longer have my sct box so I can't just use that. What tables/parameters do I need to set to have the fuel pump run constantly as to drain the tank to switch to other fuels?

    Thanks in advance.

In SCT its under Returnless Fuel Pump. Set the Duty Cycle When Pump is Off to .5.

I have never tried it, but it looks like there is a switch for turning the fuel pump on in the VCM scanner.

Ok, so taking what you're saying there wbt, I've looked at those tables. I may be interpreting them wrong.

Minimum On Time: I read as this is the priming time frame. Pump will run for in the case of your image for 8 seconds
Secondary Monitor: Reads as a pcm test. Maybe something to do with the evap system
Rail Pressure: Pretty self explanatory there.
Off Duty Cycle: No freaking clue. Duty cycle when pump is off. My brain immediately says this should be 0 because if the pump is off...then no duty cycle is required.

But thanks for refreshing me on those...re reading what jmac posted it makes sense, I'll have to give it a shot.

Correct. Try cranking up that Minimum On Time to 1,800 (30 min.) and see if that does the trick.

Max setting in that table is 32 seconds.

I just noticed that......hmmmm. In the same boat as you....looking around I am unable to find another parameter listed that will control the prime timer. Maybe Eric can chime in.

Cant speak for HPT as I still havent pulled the trigger on it yet. Judging by wbt's screenshot, you need to change the Off Duty Cycle to .5. No other changes should be needed.

Sweet!!! Thanks guys. I had gathered that from taking jmac's wording and wbt giving me the virtual slap upside the head saying hey dude...check here! Thanks for confirming Eric!

Awesome! I will be using it as well very soon as well. The vehicle I needed to know it for was significantly lower on fuel than I was told so it was not needed...that and I had to jump through hoops and play games getting it unlocked.

I think in camaro's you can PROBABLY do it through VCM Controls/special functions in the scanner...
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Any chance setting the min to .5 to run the pump could be added to the logger as a switch?

Resurrecting this thread. Was curious if there is a way to adjust the pre start fuel pump prime time (FP prime when you touch the break before start) in HPtuners. It's a 2015 GT with a Fore triple pump return style setup. Thanks.
